Our First Public Workshop

Crafted Calm has officially taken its next step.

Participants gathered around a shared table with their colourful painted wooden house models at Crafted Calm's first public workshop
Making, painting and connecting at our first public Crafted Calm workshop.

Our first public pilot workshop brought participants together for an evening of hands-on creativity, mindful making, and connection.

Around one shared table, participants assembled and painted their own wooden house models, transforming simple wooden pieces into colourful, personal creations. No two finished houses looked exactly the same — and that individuality became one of the most enjoyable parts of the experience.

But Crafted Calm was never intended to be only about the finished model.

The workshop was designed to create an environment where people could slow down, focus on something tangible, enjoy conversation, and experience the satisfaction of creating something with their own hands.

Throughout the evening, the table became a shared creative space. Participants worked independently while also exchanging ideas, helping one another, talking, laughing, and watching their house models gradually come together.

For the Crafted Calm team, this first public pilot was also an important learning experience. It gave us the opportunity to observe how participants interact with the models, how the workshop flows in a community setting, and how we can continue refining the experience as Crafted Calm grows.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us for this first workshop and helped turn an idea into a real community experience.

This was our first public Crafted Calm workshop — but it is only the beginning.

Create. Reflect. Connect.
